Sarku Japan is marking National Chicken Teriyaki Day on December 11, 2025, with a nationwide promotion that will award one customer at each of its more than 145 corporate locations free Chicken Teriyaki for all of 2026.
Nationwide entry window opens December 8
According to the announcement, customers can enter by placing an eligible order through the Sarku Japan rewards app between December 8 and 11. Qualifying purchases include:
Chicken Teriyaki entrée
Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki entrée
Chicken Teriyaki bowl
Those without an account can register through the chain’s rewards platform. Winners are expected to be notified on or before December 31.
The company noted the offer applies only at participating locations and is subject to standard eligibility rules, including age and residency requirements.
Chain highlights popularity of signature dish
Sarku Japan, founded in 1987, built its reputation in mall food courts with teppanyaki-style cooking and its signature Chicken Teriyaki, which the company says remains its top-selling item.
The chain reports serving more than 12 million Chicken Teriyaki orders each year across its U.S. locations.
Beyond its flagship entrée, the menu includes a range of made-to-order items such as sushi, bento boxes, spring rolls, shrimp tempura and gyoza dumplings.
