For decades, JELL-O molds have been a staple on American holiday tables, but this year, the iconic brand is reimagining some of the most divisive Thanksgiving dishes in a fun, jiggly way. Introducing the limited-edition JELL-O “No Thanks” Thanksgiving Molds, featuring Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and pecan pie: three side dishes that often spark debate around the dinner table.

According to a recent survey, nearly one-third of Americans list Brussels sprouts as their least favorite Thanksgiving side, while more than a quarter skip cranberry sauce, and one in five pass on pecan pie.

JELL-O is hoping to change that with its new offering: colorful, wobbly molds that add a playful twist to these traditional yet often controversial sides.

A New Take on Thanksgiving Traditions

The new "No Thanks" Thanksgiving Molds come in three unique flavors including Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and pecan pie, but with a they’re all made of JELL-O. These limited-edition molds are designed to make these long-standing holiday dishes more fun and approachable, encouraging people to try them in a new, jiggly form.

"Thanksgiving is all about togetherness, but we know not every side dish unites the table," said Lauren Gumbiner, Associate Marketing Director at Kraft Heinz. "With our 'No Thanks' Thanksgiving molds, we’re turning the most debated dishes into something everyone can actually say yes to — in an unmistakably JELL-O way."

Despite the long history of JELL-O molds at holiday celebrations, the brand’s latest twist reflects a shift toward more playful, creative takes on familiar foods.

Nearly 60% of Americans say they’re more likely to try dishes that look fun, and many believe a holiday meal should feel more playful than stiff.

The molds, which will be available exclusively on Walmart.com for $4.99 starting November 11, offer a lighthearted, approachable way to reintroduce Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and pecan pie to the dinner table. The bright colors and gelatinous textures of the molds are a far cry from the traditional beige dishes most people associate with Thanksgiving.

A Nod to Nostalgia and Modern Trends

JELL-O molds have been a fixture at American holiday tables for over a century, with iconic recipes like the Golden Glow Salad and fruit-filled gelatin molds brightening up festive spreads for generations. This new creation builds on that legacy, tapping into current trends that favor nostalgic formats with a modern twist.

The "No Thanks" Molds are available while supplies last, and JELL-O is encouraging fans to share their creations and get additional recipe inspiration on Instagram and TikTok through the brand’s social media channels.

For more information, visit Walmart.com starting November 11.
