Whataburger has announced the return of its popular Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich, available beginning Sept. 30 for a limited time.
The sandwich features three crispy chicken strips topped with Monterey Jack cheese, Buffalo sauce, and buttermilk ranch on a five-inch bun. A junior version is also available for those looking for a smaller portion.
According to Whataburger, the item has developed a strong following over the years. “The Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich has become a true icon for us,” said Scott Hudler, Chief Marketing Officer at Whataburger. “Every time it returns, Guests show up in a big way.”
The sandwich can be ordered in-store, through the Whataburger App, or online at Whataburger.com for pickup or delivery.
In addition to the returning sandwich, Whataburger is also extending the availability of the Bacon Wrangler Double through Nov. 3, but only through digital orders. This burger includes two beef patties, bacon, Monterey Jack and American cheeses, pickles, onion strings, and chipotle aioli on toasted buns.
Whataburger’s Buffalo Sauce and Creamy Buttermilk Ranch are also available year-round at participating grocery stores.
