Uncrustables Adds Two New High-Protein Sandwiches to Lineup

Frozen sandwich brand Uncrustables is expanding its product lineup with the release of two new peanut butter and jelly options, each offering 12 grams of protein per sandwich—its highest protein content to date.

The new products, named Bright-Eyed Berry (peanut butter and strawberry jam) and Up & Apple (peanut butter and apple cinnamon jelly), aim to appeal to consumers looking for quick, higher-protein food options in the morning. Along with more protein, both sandwiches contain added fiber and whole grains.

Uncrustables’ parent company, The J.M. Smucker Co., said the launch reflects shifting breakfast habits as more people move away from traditional sit-down meals in favor of convenient snacks.

“These products reflect how mornings are changing,” said Chris Achenbach, Marketing Director at The J.M. Smucker Co. “People want something they can grab and go without sacrificing taste or nutrition.”

Each sandwich is individually wrapped and frozen, requiring no preparation. The new items will join Uncrustables’ existing range of PB&J varieties—including grape, strawberry, and chocolate-flavored hazelnut spread.

The sandwiches will be available nationwide starting October 2025 at major retailers including Kroger, Walmart, and Target. An 8-count box will retail for $10.46.
