Taco Bell Brings Back Crispy Chicken with New Frank’s RedHot Diablo Sauce

Starting October 16, Taco Bell will reintroduce its Crispy Chicken lineup across the U.S., now featuring a new sauce collaboration with Frank’s RedHot® called Diablo.

This new sauce combines Frank’s classic Buffalo flavor with Taco Bell’s signature Diablo sauce and spicy ranch, offering a creamy and spicy twist on several menu items.

The Frank’s RedHot® Diablo sauce will be available on a variety of Crispy Chicken items, including tacos, burritos, strips, and Nacho Fries.

Taco Bell highlights Crispy Chicken as a base for bold flavor experimentation, and this partnership marks its latest move to refresh the classic offering.

Menu Items Featuring Frank’s RedHot® Diablo Sauce

  • Frank’s RedHot® Diablo Crispy Chicken Burrito: Crispy chicken strips with shredded lettuce, crunchy purple cabbage, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla, grilled and finished with Frank’s RedHot® Diablo or Avocado Ranch.
  • Frank’s RedHot® Diablo Crispy Chicken Soft Taco: Crispy chicken strip, purple cabbage, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, topped with Frank’s RedHot® Diablo or Avocado Ranch.
  • Frank’s RedHot® Diablo Chicken Nacho Fries: Seasoned Nacho Fries topped with slow-roasted chicken, nacho cheese sauce, three-cheese blend, pico de gallo, and a drizzle of Frank’s RedHot® Diablo.
  • Crispy Chicken Strips with Spicy Ranch: Four crispy chicken strips coated in tortilla chip breading, served with Spicy Ranch or Frank’s RedHot® Diablo sauce for dipping.

Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s Global Chief Food Innovation Officer, emphasized the importance of sauces in shaping the Taco Bell experience, saying, “Crispy Chicken is our stage for flavor innovation, with every new sauce collaboration breaking new ground.”

The Frank’s RedHot® Diablo Crispy Chicken Soft Taco will also be part of Taco Bell’s Welcome Reward picklist for new Rewards Members for a limited time, offering another incentive for customers to try the new flavor combo.

Taco Bell continues to build on the popularity of Crispy Chicken by introducing new flavor combinations, with Frank’s RedHot® Diablo sauce marking the latest chapter in this ongoing evolution.
