Nestlé Toll House Launches Cookie Tacos in Limited Giveaway

In a move that’s sure to spark both curiosity and cravings, Nestlé Toll House is introducing Cookie Tacos. Combining chocolate chip cookies and tacos, the company is offering limited-edition DIY kits that let consumers turn cookie dough into dessert taco shells, complete with toppings and fillings of their choice.

Each Cookie Taco starts with classic Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, which is baked and shaped into taco shells. From there, it’s up to the creator, with fillings ranging from traditional ice cream and frosting to more adventurous options like fruit salsas, candied jalapeños, or even spicy chocolate sauces.

The company offers three levels of inspiration for the tacos: “Mild,” “Medium,” and “Spicy,” but encourages customization.

“At Nestlé Toll House, we’re always looking for fresh ways to encourage people to create memories over a shared love of dessert,” said Kate Boeding, head of marketing at Nestlé Toll House. “Tacos are the ultimate party staple, bringing equal parts comfort and fun to any gathering—and reimagining our famous Chocolate Chip Cookies in this format gives people a new way to celebrate, customize, and bring a bit of magic to every bite.”

Limited Giveaway

Fans interested in trying the Cookie Tacos will need to act fast. Nestlé Toll House will release a limited number of free kits on three specific dates:

  • October 7 (National Taco Day)
  • November 6 (during peak tailgating season)
  • December 4 (National Cookie Day)

On each of those days, beginning at 2 p.m. ET, the first 25 people to register at tollhouse.com/cookietacos will receive a kit at no cost. Only 75 kits will be distributed in total, and each includes cookie dough, chocolate morsels, and recipe ideas to get started.

The giveaway is open to U.S. residents who are 18 years or older. According to the official terms, the promotion runs “while supplies last” on each date, and entries will be accepted only during the designated time window.

From Simple to Adventurous

The company is marketing the treat as a flexible option for all types of gatherings—from laid-back family nights to full-on holiday parties and game-day spreads.

  • “Mild”: A classic take, using cookie shells filled with vanilla or chocolate ice cream, topped with chocolate morsels or candy.
  • “Medium”: Adds a fruity edge, suggesting a salsa of pineapple, kiwi, and pomegranate with lime juice. Toppings like candied jalapeños bring a sweet-meets-spicy element.
  • “Spicy”: For those who like bold flavors, the suggestion includes Dulce de Leche Cotija ice cream paired with spicy chocolate sauce.

The mashup comes as more food brands continue experimenting with unconventional flavor pairings and formats. Nestlé Toll House appears to be tapping into both nostalgia and novelty with this concept, blending the familiarity of its decades-old cookie recipe with the growing popularity of customizable, Instagram-friendly foods.

Social Media Push

In addition to the giveaway, Nestlé is encouraging fans to share their Cookie Taco creations online by tagging @nestletollhouse on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. While the kits are limited, the company is making recipe inspiration available to the public, inviting anyone with access to cookie dough and creativity to participate.
