McDonald’s is bringing back its popular MONOPOLY game promotion in the U.S. starting October 6, marking its first return in nearly ten years. The fast-food chain announced that the game will run for a limited time, with new digital features alongside the traditional peel-off game pieces.
Customers who order select menu items, such as the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Egg McMuffin, or large fries, will receive game pieces, either physical or digital, depending on how they order. Those who use the McDonald’s app can earn digital game pieces and access bonus chances to win prizes.

Prizes range from free food and loyalty points to bigger rewards like a $1 million cash prize, a 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, or vacations to destinations inspired by the MONOPOLY GO! mobile game.
Players can collect property sets for larger prizes, including 1 million American Airlines AAdvantage miles, a $50,000 travel package, or a $10,000 Lowe’s shopping spree. Bonus plays in the app will run through November 2, while physical and digital game pieces can be used through November 23.
The game is open to U.S. residents aged 18 and older who register via the McDonald’s app.
No purchase is necessary to participate. Full rules and prize details are available at playatmcd.com.
