Furniture distributor Lulive has issued a nationwide recall of its 12-drawer dressers after U.S. safety regulators found the product poses a dangerous tip-over and entrapment hazard to children if left unsecured.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced Thursday that about 3,500 units are affected by the recall after tests revealed the dressers violate the federal stability requirements set by the STURDY Act, a law designed to prevent furniture tip-over accidents.
While no injuries have been reported, authorities are urging families to stop using the dressers immediately unless they are anchored to a wall and to keep them out of children’s reach until they can be safely disposed of.
Product Details
The recall involves white Lulive 12-drawer dressers featuring a metal frame, wooden top, 12 collapsible fabric drawers of varying sizes, four side pockets, and two hooks. They measure approximately 12 inches by 39 inches by 45 inches and weigh about 30 pounds. The product packaging is marked with code “KF-X9Y1.”

The dressers were manufactured in China by Changzhou Hengze Home Furnishing Co. and sold on Amazon between March and June 2025 for $90 to $100.
What Consumers Should Do
