Starting September 8, Jimmy John’s will offer two new pizza-inspired Toasted Sandwiches, marking the first limited-time release on the brand’s recently introduced Toasted platform.
The two sandwiches, which combine the flavors of classic pizza with the convenience of a toasted sub, feature mozzarella, marinara sauce, and a variety of toppings on the chain’s signature French bread.
The first option, the Toasted Sicilian Pizza Sandwich, includes layers of salami, capocollo, and ham, topped with mozzarella, marinara, and a sprinkle of oregano-basil, creating a flavor profile reminiscent of traditional Sicilian pizza.
The second, the Toasted Three Cheese Pizza Sandwich, caters to cheese lovers, with mozzarella, provolone, and parmesan, complemented by marinara and oregano-basil. Notably, the Three Cheese Pizza Sandwich is the first vegetarian offering in the Toasted category.
This new launch builds on the success of Jimmy John’s Toasted Sandwiches, a concept introduced earlier this year. Previous menu items under this platform include the Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Ultimate Italian.
According to the company, these pizza-inspired offerings highlight the potential for future innovations within the Toasted lineup.
The Toasted Sicilian Pizza Sandwich and Toasted Three Cheese Pizza Sandwich will be available at participating locations nationwide for a limited time. Customers can order through the store, online, or via the Jimmy John’s app.
