Pizza Hut is connecting football’s iconic “Hut!” call with a new fan promotion running throughout this football season. Starting October 6, fans who catch a quarterback shouting “Hut” in any football game can share a video on social media tagging @PizzaHut and using the hashtag #Hut for a chance to win free pizza and other exclusive prizes.
The promotion, called “Hijack the Hut,” turns the quarterback’s traditional signal to start a play into an opportunity for fans to score. “Quarterbacks have long relied on the word ‘Hut’ as the signal to start the play, and now Pizza Hut is tapping into this unmistakable connection,” the company said in a statement.
Pizza Hut Brings Back Big Dinner Box

The launch coincides with National Pizza Month and the return of Pizza Hut’s Big Dinner Box to menus nationwide.
The Big Dinner Box includes two medium one-topping pizzas, five breadsticks, and eight boneless wings, with prices starting at $19.99. This value bundle is meant to serve groups and families gathering to watch football or celebrate the month.
Melissa Friebe, Pizza Hut’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the timing of the campaign. “National Pizza Month is the perfect time to deliver fan-favorites at incredible value,” she said. “The Big Dinner Box brings everyone together over great pizza and our iconic sides, and with Josh Allen on board plus our new campaign and program, we’re hooking fans up more ways than ever this month.”
Alongside the “Hijack the Hut” promotion, Pizza Hut has teamed up with quarterback Josh Allen and Pepsi for a campaign that also includes a special offer. Customers can get a 2-liter Pepsi beverage for $2 using the code PEPSISETHUT.

With football season in full swing, Pizza Hut’s latest campaign aims to bring fans closer to the game and to each other over familiar foods and fun social media engagement.
Whether it’s youth leagues or professional games, the call of “Hut!” now carries the chance for free pizza.
