El Pollo Loco has introduced two new burrito bowls featuring double portions of its fire-grilled chicken. The new Double Chicken Burrito Bowls are now available nationwide and come in two varieties: the Queso Crunch Burrito Bowl and the Street Corn Burrito Bowl.
The Queso Crunch Burrito Bowl combines fire-grilled chopped chicken with pinto beans, seasoned rice, warm queso blanco, shredded Jack cheese, guacamole, cilantro, and salsa fresca. It is served with tortilla strips for added texture.
The Street Corn Burrito Bowl includes fire-grilled chicken paired with pinto beans, seasoned rice, corn and red peppers, shredded Jack cheese, creamy chipotle sauce, cotija cheese, guacamole, cilantro, and salsa fresca.
Both bowls can be ordered a la carte starting at $11.79 or as combos with chips, salsa, and a regular drink starting at $14.59, though prices may vary by location.
Jill Adams, Chief Marketing Officer at El Pollo Loco, said, “We saw an opportunity to elevate our bowl lineup and knew we had to take it. We crafted both flavor options to be highly craveable and differentiated from a typical burrito bowl, all while using our quality ingredients and signature fire-grilled chicken. They’re hearty, flavorful, and will blow away all expectations.”
In addition to the new bowls, El Pollo Loco has launched the Fam Feast, a meal meant for sharing. Priced at $29.99, the Fam Feast includes eight pieces of fire-grilled chicken, three large sides, four cinnamon churros, warm tortillas, and salsa. It is intended to serve three to four people.
These new offerings aim to provide larger portions and more variety to customers looking for hearty meals.
