Eggo is making breakfast a bit more exciting for families looking for quick, tasty, and protein-filled options. The brand has rolled out three new flavors of waffles and pancakes, adding to its growing protein lineup that has become a hit with busy parents and hungry kids.
The latest additions include Buttermilk Vanilla Protein Waffles, Vanilla Protein Pancakes, and Blueberry Protein Pancakes. Each aims to deliver the flavors people already love, but with an extra protein boost.

The waffles are described as crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with a cozy buttermilk-and-vanilla kick. For those who prefer pancakes, the new vanilla option gives a smooth, classic taste, while the blueberry version packs in bold, fruity flavor.
This isn’t Eggo’s first step into the protein space. Last year’s Chocolate Chip Brownie and Strawberry Delight waffles proved popular, paving the way for these brand-new options. The company now claims it’s the only major waffle brand offering 20% of the recommended daily protein in every serving.
At a suggested $5.99 for a box of 10 waffles or 12 pancakes, shoppers can find the new Eggo Protein Waffles and Pancakes at grocery stores nationwide.
“For many families, getting enough protein in the morning feels like a challenge,” said Alicia Mosley, Vice President of Marketing for Frozen Foods at Kellanova. “That’s why we made sure our waffles and pancakes keep taste front and center while still delivering an excellent source of complete protein.”
Eggo points out that its waffles and pancakes provide high-quality protein, including all essential amino acids, something not all options in the frozen aisle can say. The products can be enjoyed simply toasted or microwaved, and dressed up with fruit, syrup, or eaten plain on hectic mornings.
