Arizer Solo II Vaporizers Recalled Due to Overheating Battery Hazard

Arizer Solo II Vaporizers Recalled Due to Overheating Battery Hazard

Approximately 5,460 units of the Arizer Solo II portable electronic vaporizer have been recalled due to concerns that the internal lithium-ion battery can overheat, potentially producing smoke or ejecting material. This poses a risk of fire and burns.

The recall affects vaporizers with serial numbers starting with “M2.” The affected units, which feature an anodized aluminum housing and come in Carbon Black or Mystic Blue finishes, were sold between June 2024 and July 2025.

In addition to the units sold in the United States, about 2,820 vaporizers were sold in Canada.

The company has reported nine incidents of the battery overheating, but no injuries have been linked to the faulty devices.

Consumers who own an affected unit are advised to stop using the product immediately. Those with a recalled vaporizer will be provided with a free replacement; an upgraded Solo II MAX model, once the serial number is verified.

The faulty device must be disabled by inserting a provided wax into the charging port before being disposed of at an appropriate hazardous waste or battery recycling facility.

The lithium-ion batteries in the affected devices present a greater risk of fire if disposed of improperly. Consumers are urged not to throw the device in the trash or general recycling bins. Instead, contact local hazardous waste facilities for proper disposal.
