Chipotle Mexican Grill is reviving its long-standing Halloween tradition this year, bringing back the fan-favorite Boorito promotion for the 25th time. On October 31, 2025, Chipotle Rewards members who arrive in costume between 3 p.m. and closing time will be able to purchase an entrée for $6 at participating locations.
The promotion is available only for in-person orders and requires members to scan their Rewards card at checkout. Extras like guacamole, queso, and additional protein still cost extra.
Costume Contest Returns on TikTok
In addition to the in-store promotion, Chipotle is reintroducing its Boorito Costume Contest on TikTok. From October 27 to November 2, fans who post videos of their Halloween costumes using the hashtag #BooritoCostumeContest will be entered for a chance to win a VIP Card, worth over $500 in free Chipotle food.
According to Chipotle, the contest aims to celebrate the creativity of its customers and replicate the viral success of its 2020 Halloween TikTok challenge.
“Chip-or-Treat” Offers Continue Through October
Chipotle is also running a separate promotion called “Chip-or-Treat,” offering weekly surprises to Rewards members throughout October.
Customers who make at least one entrée purchase per week using their Rewards account will receive personalized treats—such as free chips, guac, or bonus Rewards points—via email. This offer ends October 30 and is limited to one reward per week.
New “Build-Your-Own Chipotle” Family Meal Available
In other seasonal updates, Chipotle has launched a new “Build-Your-Own Chipotle” (BYOC) meal kit. Exclusively available through the brand’s app and website, the meal is tailored for sharing and serves four to six people.
Customers can now choose to add an additional 8 oz of protein to customize their order further.
Each BYOC order includes:
- One protein (24 oz): choice of chicken, steak, barbacoa, carnitas, or Sofritas
- One rice: white or brown
- One bean: black or pinto
- One premium side: guac or Queso Blanco
- Three toppings: sour cream, tomatillo-red chili salsa, tomatillo-green chili salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, or fresh tomato salsa
- Shredded romaine lettuce and cheese
- Two large bags of chips
- Eight soft taco tortillas
- Bowls, forks, and napkins for six people (optional at checkout)
First-time customers can get $10 off a BYOC order using the code TRYBYOC through December 31, or until 500,000 redemptions are reached.
