Walmart is once again rolling out its annual Thanksgiving meal basket, offering what it says is its most affordable version yet. For under $40, families can purchase a full holiday spread serving 10 people, breaking down to less than $4 per person.
The basket includes over 20 items, combining national brands like Butterball and Stove Top with Walmart’s own Great Value line. This year’s offer features a Butterball turkey priced at $0.97 per pound, the lowest cost since 2019, according to the company.
Other key items in the meal include dinner rolls, potatoes, cranberries, canned vegetables, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, gravy, pie crusts, and pumpkin pie ingredients.

- Butterball Turkey, 13.5 lb. ($0.97/lb. — lowest price since 2019)
- Kinder’s Fried Onions, 4.5 oz.
- Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup, 10.5 oz. (1 can)
- Stove Top Turkey Stuffing, Twin Pack (2 x 6 oz.)
- Great Value Dinner Rolls, 12 count
- Fresh Russet Potatoes, 5 lb.
- Fresh Cranberries, 12 oz.
- Great Value Baby Carrots, 2 lb.
- Great Value Corn, 15 oz. (3 cans)

The Thanksgiving meal deal is available for purchase both in stores and online. New customers using Walmart’s Pickup and Delivery services will receive free express delivery on the basket, which can arrive in as little as one hour.
New Meal Options for Different Diets and Traditions
The offering is part of Walmart’s continued push to provide accessible holiday meals amid rising costs and changing dietary needs. The company has also introduced new one-click meal options this year, including:
- A gluten-free Thanksgiving meal featuring traditional dishes and desserts, made entirely gluten-free.
- A balanced Thanksgiving basket with high-protein swaps like Goodles Mac & Cheese, cauliflower mashed potatoes, and a protein-rich pumpkin dessert.
- A prime rib meal basket that includes Choice Angus beef, salad, potatoes, and wine for an alternative holiday dinner.
Originally launched in 2022, the Thanksgiving basket has become an annual staple for millions of Walmart shoppers. This year’s offer marks the lowest overall price point since the program began.
Walmart is also continuing its partnership with The Salvation Army. Customers shopping the Thanksgiving basket online can add a donation at checkout to help provide meals for families in need in their local communities.
