SONIC is adding new items to its fall and winter menu, including a sweet holiday shake, a twist on its signature burger, and updates to its $1.99 value menu. Starting October 20, these new items are available exclusively through the SONIC App, with full national availability beginning November 3.
Of the newest offerings, one is a sweet, peppermint-heavy dessert and the other is a heartier, meat-loaded burger option.
New seasonal items include:
- Peppermint Brownie Bark Shake – A blend of vanilla soft serve, chocolate chunk brownie pieces, and crushed peppermints, topped with whipped topping, a cherry, and more crushed peppermint ($5.39 for Medium).
- Pretzel Bacon Double SONIC Smasher™ – Angus beef patties with American cheese, bacon, fried onions, and creamy mustard, served on a soft pretzel bun ($7.39).
- Pretzel Bacon Triple SONIC Smasher™ – Same as above, with an extra patty for a larger portion ($8.39).
The new menu items are available only while supplies last and may vary by location. SONIC also noted that these seasonal offerings are exclusive to the SONIC App for the first two weeks.
Revamped $1.99 Value Menu
In addition to the new shake and burgers, the chain is refreshing its $1.99 Menu with a new item and returning favorites:
- Creamy Mustard Chicken Tender Wrap
- Cheesy Baja Crispy Tender Wrap
- Jr. Double Cheeseburger
- Medium Cherry Flavor Bubble Slush
- Medium Green Apple Flavor Bubble Slush
- Salted Caramel Toffee Croissant Bites
The Creamy Mustard Chicken Tender Wrap is the latest addition, featuring a crispy white meat chicken tender wrapped in a flour tortilla with lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and creamy mustard sauce.
These new items join SONIC’s recent launch of its Bourbon Caramel Iced Coffee, further expanding its seasonal lineup.
SONIC says the new menu items are available for a limited time, and prices may vary depending on location.
