Noodles & Company is rolling out a new menu item, Chili Garlic Ramen, which will be available nationwide starting October 17. Rewards members will get early access beginning October 15.
According to the company, Chili Garlic Ramen will be sold for a limited time at $8.95.
The bowl skips the broth and leans into a rich mix of spicy, buttery, and umami flavors, a combination that’s become popular in homemade versions shared widely on platforms like TikTok.

“Ramen is a dish our guests have been craving from us,” said Joe Christina, the company’s CEO. “With Chili Garlic Ramen, we’re bringing that craveable comfort to life in a bold, flavorful way that only Noodles can.”
Tina Massey, director of culinary R&D, said the team worked with Wonton, a Brooklyn-based supplier to source authentic ramen noodles and added a custom chili garlic spice blend.
“Our Chili Garlic Ramen is buttery, umami, and perfectly spiced — the ultimate one-step hack,” she said. “After nearly 15 years developing dishes at Noodles, this is one of my favorites.”
A Ready-Made Alternative to Ramen Hacks
The release comes as more people, particularly younger consumers, turn to simplified meals and comfort food. Social media has fueled the trend, with over 20,000 posts under #RamenHacks showing how users customize instant noodles at home.
Noodles & Company’s version offers a shortcut, with no boiling water, draining, or extra ingredients required.
Chili Garlic Ramen will be available in stores and for online orders through the Noodles & Company website.
