Krispy Kreme has launched a new lineup of Halloween-themed doughnuts available now through the end of October and those in costume can score free doughnuts on two upcoming dates.
The popular doughnut chain has introduced four limited-edition items in what it’s calling the Trick or Treat! Collection, now available at participating U.S. shops.
Each doughnut brings a mix of Halloween imagery and classic candy-inspired flavors.
What’s in the Halloween Collection?
The four new doughnuts include:
- The Candy Bag Doughnut: An Original Glazed® doughnut topped with chocolate-flavored buttercreme, caramel swirl, and a blend of crushed Halloween candies.
- Cookies and Skreme House Doughnut: A filled doughnut with Cookies & Kreme™ filling, dipped in chocolate icing, topped with cookie pieces, purple icing, and a haunted house-shaped decoration.
- Jack-O-Lantern Doughnut: A doughnut with orange buttercreme icing, decorated to resemble a classic jack-o-lantern with a green icing stem.
- Spooky Sprinkle Doughnut: The Original Glazed® coated in green icing and Halloween-themed sprinkles.
Free Doughnuts for Costumes
Krispy Kreme is also offering guests two chances to receive a free doughnut simply by showing up in costume.
On Saturday, October 25 and Friday, October 31 (Halloween), anyone wearing a costume can get one free Original Glazed® or Classic Ring Doughnut at participating locations. No purchase is required.
Alison Holder, Chief Brand and Product Officer at Krispy Kreme, said the company wants to bring joy during the Halloween season.
“At Krispy Kreme, we believe Halloween should be all about treating our fans, never tricking them,” Holder said. “Don’t forget to sneak a doughnut for yourself before sharing, because the only thing spookier than a ghost is an empty Krispy Kreme dozens box!”
The Halloween doughnuts are available in-store and for pickup or delivery through Krispy Kreme’s app and website.
A limited selection is also stocked in Krispy Kreme 6-packs at select grocery stores.
