Church’s Texas Chicken is adding bone-in wings to its menu for a limited time, offering four flavor options and a new promotional campaign aimed at customers dissatisfied with wings from other restaurants.
Starting at $5.99 for six pieces, Church’s bone-in wings are now available in Original, Spicy, Buffalo, and Hot Honey Lemon Pepper flavors. Customers can also opt for a combo meal that includes a side, Honey-Butter Biscuit™, and a drink starting at $8.99.
In addition to the new menu item, the fast-food chain is launching “Wing Swap,” a campaign that invites people to report disappointing wing experiences from other restaurants.
From October 11–12, those who send a direct message to Church’s on Instagram (@ChurchsChicken) explaining their unsatisfactory wing order, including photos may receive a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) offer via the Church’s app.
Church’s Chief Marketing Officer Navin Sharma said the company developed the bone-in wings after extensive testing to ensure they meet the brand’s standards for flavor and texture.
The Wing Swap promotion, Sharma added, is meant to give customers a chance to “recover” from subpar wing orders elsewhere.
The brand plans to engage with users in real time via Instagram, where ambassadors will host live streams highlighting wing rescues and offering support to participants.
The bone-in wings and the Wing Swap promotion are both available for a limited time.
