Frozen snack brand Yasso is expanding its product lineup this fall with the launch of spoonable frozen Greek yogurt, a move that marks a shift from its popular frozen bar format to a pint-style dessert. The new 14-ounce containers are now available exclusively at Target stores nationwide.
The product arrives in five flavors: Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Fudge Brownie, Cookies ‘n Cream, and Coffee Chip, each made with Yasso’s Greek yogurt base. Every container includes up to 19 grams of protein and around 400 calories, without artificial colors, flavors, or sugar alcohols.
Yasso, known for its “better-for-you” frozen snacks, is positioning the product as an alternative to traditional ice cream without the common trade-offs in texture or flavor found in other health-focused desserts.
“We’ve always believed that great taste and great nutrition don’t have to be a compromise, and we’re done watching other brands ask you to settle,” said Bentley King, U.S. head of marketing operations at The Magnum Ice Cream Company, which oversees the Yasso brand. “Our new spoonable frozen Greek yogurt is the ultimate answer to that craving for rich, decadent flavor while still getting the benefits you expect from Yasso.”
The brand is emphasizing texture and indulgence in its rollout, with mix-ins like gooey cookie dough chunks, chocolate chips, and fudge brownies featured across the flavor lineup. The company says it aims to “reclaim freezer space” by offering a product that blends indulgent taste with nutritional value.
A closer look at the flavors reveals calorie counts ranging from 370 to 410 per container, depending on the variety. For example, the Mint Chocolate Chip and Coffee Chip flavors contain 400 calories and 19 grams of protein each, while Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Fudge Brownie offer slightly higher calorie counts at 410.
To encourage trial, Yasso is offering a “Love It or It’s Free” guarantee, allowing consumers to request a full refund if they aren’t satisfied with their purchase.
