Jack in the Box to Increase Drink Sizes and Cut Combo Prices

Fast food chain introduces bigger cups, more value deals ahead of 75th anniversary.

Jack in the Box is making changes to counter rising prices by offering customers more food and drink for their money. Starting October 1, the chain will increase the size of its fountain drink cups by 25%, giving customers more ounces at no extra cost.

In addition to the larger drinks, Jack in the Box says it is lowering prices on its menu, bringing over 60% of combo meals under the $10 mark in most markets.

The move comes as consumers continue to feel the effects of inflation, with smaller portion sizes and higher prices becoming common across the industry.

Other upcoming value-focused promotions include:

  • Burger Week (Sept. 12–18): The Smashed Jack burger will be available for $5, both in the app and in-store. Loyalty members can access additional deals.
  • Monster-Sized Snacks (Starting Sept. 18): The return of Monster Tacos at 2 for $3, plus new oversized items like a Monster Churro and Monster Mozzarella Stick.
  • Munchie Meal Giveaways (Starting Sept. 18): Limited-time giveaways including a Halloween-themed color-changing cup with select Munchie Meals.
  • DealQuest (Fall 2025): A new app-based game will allow users to unlock exclusive discounts through interactive play.
  • Jackmas (December 2025): A daily deal event running through December, returning for its fourth year.

These initiatives are part of the chain’s broader strategy to boost value offerings ahead of its 75th anniversary.
