About 66,000 tabletop fire pits sold by Five Below have been recalled due to a fire hazard. The affected units pose a risk of flash fires from alcohol fuel leaking or splashing out during use or ignition. This can cause larger flames to escape from the unit, leading to potential burn injuries and other fire risks.
The recall includes two models of fire pits: one with a smooth black base and the other with a beveled gray base. Both models feature a stainless-steel fuel cup, a lid, and a flame cover.
Recalled units should be properly disposed of.
Five Below has received one report of flames escaping from a fire pit, but no injuries have been reported.
